The more expensive the property the better these rules work. 70% rule on a 30k house does not leave you very much room for a robust profit if you do the math.

@Johann Jells As a MA notary, I'm assuming that NJ laws are the same - they may not be.One of the notary's primary functions is to verify that the person signing a document has presented evidence of their identity.

He checked the ports where the cables came into the building and (according to the cable guy) they are functioning perfectly, which means (according to the cable guy) that the problem is somewhere in the cabling inside the house.

If you are aware that the tenant is not operating a home business but simply performing the functions of his job while inside his home (and this does not involve increased traffic, paying customers, commercial enhancments made to the unit), why would a landlord be concerned, as long as the tenant is paying the rent on time?
