Hi All,Going to look at a condo today that has the following properties:- 2 floors zoned as 1 unit- Floor 1: 2 bed, 1 kitchen, 2 bath- Floor 2: 3 bed, 1 kitchen, 1 bath- Both floors already have separate heating/cooling zones and metersThis is listed as a single unit probably because there aren't enough egress points at this stage.

I haven't personally tried to the last two so there are probably plenty of bad examples not to try them, but they should at least minimize initial investment costs if done right.

This rent is $400 higher than the median for the area.At first I like the idea of keeping the tenant - I'm not sure I'm 100% prepared yet to do a reno, but I think I could make it happen, probably just scared.

You’ll probably need 20 or 25% down to purchase a rental property, not 10%, that has been my experience at least.
