Saying there are no RE cops says you don't have a clue about the RE industry, those who play by the rules and carry on legally and ethically have reason enough to turn in those who don't.I am the one who said 'there are no RE cops' and I suppose I should clarify that there are no Real Estate Peace officers riding around in Crown Vics with flashing lights to different open houses in my town.

I have seen the occasional tenant pour cement down the drainpipe or other intentional damage(No they were not prosecuted) but that is rare as well.

Flash forward to 2015 and you had eight or nine siblings and cousins who were all aged 50+, and had spent their entire lives living off the income of this portfolio (maybe one or two had actually pursued careers of their own) and had sued each other every time some segment of the family had contemplated selling a property.

Homeaway not so much, but that's fairly easy to do.Brevard also checks in occasionally on safety stuff like fire extinguishers and we maintain our wells with water quality checks every quarter, I've never been asked by Brevard to produce them but we have them anyway.
