I do like higher end ceiling fans, often with a remote control mounted on the wall. 

I'm not a fan of most retirement accounts for this reason nor liquidating income producing assets for cash.

But please do it in the back yard" etc.If it looks like the kids not stopping, I might go so far as to purchase a window fan and ask them to utilize it.

Not a fan of white appliances or cabinets but personal preference.

I'm a big fan of the NE part of the city in terms of future growth/demand for a number of reasons.I think there are still decent condo buys to be had, but I would stick to areas fairly immediately around the light rail stations.

I bought a home that needed a complete rehab, spent about 40k I had saved up on materials and spent a year doing the work minus the roof (not a fan of heights).

The project will involve laying new flooring, minor layout reconfiguration, full interior and exterior painting, a bathroom remodel and some minor electrical work (i.e. installing fans, vent hood, replacing outlets, etc).Any references are appreciated!

Although i'm not a big fan of Tim Ferris, I really liked the concept of the 4 hour work week and having systems and place and being intentional and focused to limit your work time.
