We have local REI meetups in Las Vegas for $20 and it includes dinner, much more intimate, and you can meet some nice, honest BP users there.I'm sure you could find something similar in Seattle or someone from BP might even put one on.

@Kim Younkin - the slumlord is the owner, the people living there aren't top notch but 5 of the 7 tenants are actually pleasant.

You will need to unload the SFHs to maximise your investments at some point in time anyway so you might as well do it now.

Having said that, everything is moving towards the cloud and in time, it will likely be a logical decision to move to the cloud as well.  

I am a local real estate investor looking to start a casual meet up group in point pleasant area to share ideas and network with other investors and wholesalers.  

My career in banking made me a strong advocate of only investing in markets you are intimately familiar with.

Pleasant has some of the best schools in the state.

In my mind, it's always best to plan for the worst case and be pleasantly surprised than vice versa. :)
