Hello,I'm in the process of completing a deal (SFR, buy and hold) and the other night my lender told me that my loan is going to fund but with a 25% down instead of the 20% and with buying 3 points to get a 5.75% rate.

LLC or series LLC? is it common or necessary ?

As far as I know, series LLCs have never really been tested in court so it is still somewhat unclear on how they will hold up but the idea was that each would be completely separate.Important note: In Texas, you have to set up your LLC as a series when you do your initial filing.
