First and foremost one thing I know as a new real estate agent is this business is heavily predicated on building relationships which is something that takes time and can not be rushed.

They drank the "STR is the best investment" Kool-aid and bought a decent property, but not one that stood out from the other 20,000+ STRs in the area and did not want to invest money to theme it.Like others have said, I think it comes down to your goals. 

Also, completely agree that Kiyosaki & McElroy lean a bit too heavily on the tactic of fear-driven sales.

There is bus service to the Howard train station but it is fairly new and not heavily used, whether covid or just not popular.

I'd add the cost of the garage into the rent for the units and heavily advertise that you have a one car garage included in the rent.
