That said, there are other places with lots of resources and data like a local REIA group, local forum posts here on BP, etc. 

It gets them a replacement value with mostly public data and possibly a brief inspection.

I have never seen a county that didn't have data on this.

Maybe you can ask the country to pull that data for you..

Where can a person find granular historical data that you mentioned?

They want to charge money for you to become a member so you can attend the events but nobody interesting is there (probably driven away) and they didn't have good presentations, or food, or drink.

We do have a lot of class "C" and even more class "D", but what else do you expect in a blue collar town driven by blue collar warehouse and transportation type jobs.

I've looked at their listings and driven by a couple of USREEB properties - in fact, there's one for rent now that's just down the street from my rental, and it looks pretty OK to me.
