When problems occur in the future it's a time saver.

They will be able to point out if there are structural concerns (e.g. party wall/foundation cracking, bulging exterior walls, etc).

Would insurance be able to cover an lawsuits if they were to occur?

Never occurred to me that these leads could be still viable for potential house-hackers, because you can get more by charging by the room.I had one lead recently that I shared with some other BP buddies -- it is a place in Copperfield, 77095, with a pool. 

It's not happening in my market and I do know that when that has occurred here and elsewhere, it is caused not so much by the appraisal as the lenders' underwriting of it in anticipation of economic downturn. 

Plus, finances fly by and who knows, maybe some unforeseen circumstance will occur and in a couple years instead of saving more you’ll end up with 20k in the bank instead.If you’re looking to flip (only because that’s what I know more about) make sure you interview tons of lenders, because quite a few will lend you money for the property AND the rehab costs.
