We weren’t showered with fake gurus, bad plans, get rich schemes, fake it ‘till you make mentality, get started with NO money or credit, leverage to the max and all that matters is cash flow being shouted at us 24-7. 

Again, a noble goal, but often times the reason people are homeless is because they have underlying issues such as mental health or substance abuse.

But if this is the mentality, then this most certainly is NOT INVESTING.

If your living situation allows, you can house-hack the first home, (renting out portions of your house to offset your monthly costs and boost your savings), to set yourself up to be ready for the next purchase.

Hi,All BP members,I have got some great responses and must admit that it has boosted my confidence a lot and in addition, I will not be VAGUE any more.

Not sure if new alone will boost up the rent per se (but it may let you be on the higher end of the range).

In more rural areas like Sedona, there are far fewer issues- but we still witness this mentality.

What about the "boost" feature on marketplace?
