I recently joined CCIM in Austin so maybe we'll cross paths at one of the functions.  

However, with the long slower season after 4/15 I am excited to devote more of my time to research, networking, and educating, while hunting for new investments.My Goal this year is to close on another single family rental either in the Northern CA area or in the Las Vegas area.I joined BP after listening to a few podcasts and diving into the forums.I am psyched to be here and looking forward to the steep learning curve that comes with every new endeavor!

@Aaron Deane There are two local REIAs I would recommend joining online.

Hello fellow BP members:  I joined last month, but I had not been able to login until today. 

I would also suggest joining a local REIA group and meeting investor-friendly realtors.

Best thing you could do as a realtor, speaking from experience, join an office where there is someone doing what you want to do.

@Patrick Hicks I have one condo in my portfolio and I ended up solving a similar problem by joining the board, unfortunately.I can't imagine why the Board would go through the trouble of a special assessment for an extra $150 per unit.  

He has a podcast with a lot of helpful information and a facebook group that you should join.
