Is there anything I can do to ideally get them to not list the house and sell to me, I’m assuming there might not be many options, especially since the sister and I had agreed on a price that was below market value given I was planning to invest money to remodel the home and was planning to honor his wishes of not having the home knocked down to make a townhome or new home.

I am wondering how much information you can garner from the listings (I have been using LoopNet) and at what point do you inquire further and what is the next step?

Wont make tonight and Ive added the next one to my calendar.Im juuuust about ready to list a property as a mid term rental to traveling medical pros.This will be the first time doing this.Have had long term rentals in the past and would like to participate in both LTR and MTR depending on the deal.

I told the listing agent to call me if he ever changes his mind. 

Ask him to book directly through the booking website if they're interested in booking, or if you think there's a demand for this, you could post your listing on a medium term rental website like FurnishedFinder.

I know BP search isn't very effective in pulling up and listing by date, so I'll try a general post.

For sure need to sell and 1031 the proceeds into something else.Spend some time dialing in where you want to park the money before you even list the townhouse for sale.

Are their listings detailed with good-quality photos?
