Hi guys,I bought my family home 3 years ago and looking to get my first SFR investment property.

Markets closer to your back yard are easier to get started in.

Right now some investors are still looking at HYSA and getting a return of close to 5%.

I keep hearing that it makes sense to focus on markets that have strong economic and population growth, but there's really no overlap between population growth, economic growth, low prices, and low taxes.So my question really is, what's the best way to get out of this?

Is anyone getting good quotes on renewals? 

Can't you get your builder's risk policy from the same agent you currently carry your general liability (for your GC business) with? 

Can you get good phone support when you need it?

I'm already stuck in phase one of deciding what market to focus on and get overwhelmed when even deciding where to start my search.I guess my questions to you all are:  1.

It may work in some areas but I hope they don't get lost on their core business models.
