Not knowing I had some on already he says glue 1" to wall,,,then stud and put insulation in stud bay.Putting 3/4 or 1" inside a 3 1/2 " wall seems goofy waste.

The PR wasn't the only factor - I started getting people with rather spammy sites bidding for links, and got sick of wasting my time rejecting them.There's lots of reasons your PR can drop, but remember, PR is just one value judgement, if your site ranks well for your chosen keywords, gets traffic, and converts well, then you're set :)
