I don't believe you need to have a social security number to be licensed but you will need a tax id number in order to get paid which you can obtain under your name or your company name.

With that said, there seems to be demand growth in the neighborhoods near downtown like University Circle, Ohio City and Tremont.All in all, I prefer Chicago because of the appreciation potential on top of the cash flow, even though Cleveland can offer a stronger cash flow return, generally speaking.
