At best, I might agree to a reasonable time limit against acting on a specificproperty identified by address.

I agree Napa Sonoma  are on a completely different level than Willamette valley. 

The only good thing was that it was enough to qualify for mortgages because I’d worked in the same line of work for years.

What you will be required to do is register as a foreign entity in the state the property is in if it’s not the home state.I recommend speaking with an attorney and your cpa on if a LLC is even required and the state(s) to incorporate it in.

OR you can do a cash-out refi on your rental if you have equity.
