This motivates people into an emotional state of fear of being left out, financial hunger, success hunger, a state where facts and logic don't matter as much as the need to succeed, the need to take action fast, and since this action is being taken without enough knowledge and time to think or time to find out what the real consequences are, people decide to trust the only person who understands the deal, and that person is the sales person, who has become their trusted confidant, who certainly suggests they take action, and thus their targets take action too soon, before they can know what is happening, and only later when it's too late they realize what has happened.

Prop 10 (Rent Control) in California
29 October 2018 | 24 replies
So California has a measure on the up coming ballet that likely strikes fear in every landlord and investor and it is Called Prop 10 (aka Rent Control).First I want it clear that I think any time "Government" interferes with the free market that bad things happen and most of the time the people that get hurt the most are the people the "Government" is looking to help.Second while I think Prop 10 is a horrible idea and I will vote NO, I fully expect it to pass as it is too sexy a story to say lets freeze rents, lets stick it to the landlords, etc.So if I think it is going to pass what am I doing to get ready for it and what do I expect to happen?

Is It Dangerous For a Wholesaler to Have a Realtor's License if Working Directly With Sellers?
22 July 2012 | 28 replies
The ways I use my licensure has changed over the years, with the ever-changing real estate markets.I simply do not fear the risk of extra liability being a licensed real estate professional "buying for my own account".In strong markets, "bubble-busting" markets, and in-between, being a Realtor has helped me in multiple ways.I for one, will continue to buy and sell and be licensed, as I think this "added liability topic", while an interesting read, is simply overblown!
