I am hoping to get some opinions on the metro area REIAs.I am looking to begin rehabbing/flipping homes in the coming year and right now I would like to do some face to face networking as well as increase my knowledge base.I hope to hear from people who have attended both CAREI and IRR meetings (maybe there are other metro are groups I am unaware of) who could compare them.

Knowledgeable, slick salespeople convincing uneducated, unsophisticated "investors" that they can get rich for doing practically nothing, and with no risk...it's got a new face, but apparently it's never going to end.

I signed up for BP back in September and have really just been absorbing all the great knowledge and advice located in the forums and blogs since then, but today is the day I introduce myself.I have been licensed for only four months and am only working it part time for now.

This may not be the correct forum but, you guys (and gals) have consistently amazed me on your knowledge of RE in general.I'm purchasing a Freddie property for my personal residence.
