As long as you are tech-savvy and adept at networking virtually (we all should be getting pretty good at this), you'll do just fine investing OOS - certainly better than you would investing locally in a market that does not fit your goals/criteria.

The videos and seminars are great for people to connect with you since its difficult to connect virtually without video.

The short sale process would enable the sale of the house as the Note holder would be forgiving a portion of the remaining balance.
