I seriously doubt this rehabber has much experience passing off such poor advice.Example: Kitchen cabinet material cost: 3,000, install cost is $1,000 (hardly double)Kicthen appliances: $1500, install cost = $200Stone/Tile/Carpet - material costs can vary dramaticaly, yet the cost to install would be the same no matter how expensive the material is.A better idea is to walk the HD/Lowes Isles and get the material costs, then speak with contractors for installation costs and make yourself a sheet.I have commented in many threads on how to evaluate rehab costs, do a quick serach to find some of them.
