Another bonus is diversity: an area with lower owner occupancy rates will tend to be more diverse, so your kids will have the good fortune of being exposed to cultures other than their own.

Unless you have tremendous experience and a network of wealthy private investors, I do not really see this going anywhere. 

Tenants come from different life situations sometimes creating a culture of mediocrity.

But in mind that this has created a culture where my tenant is $1200 behind in rent and they are making an additional $618 in fees. 

In my personal opinion the equation should be ASSURED cash flow + FORCED appreciation = REAL wealth.  I

The "wanderlust"/YOLO culture Gen Z and Millennials have nowadays. 

RE can be a lucrative career and IMHO is the easiest way to get wealthy.

Those who have the resources, the stomach and the juevos will benefit and may become very wealthy.

I guess being successful and wealthy does come at a price... you won't be able to stroll the hallways naked (although judging by some profiles i've seen, i'm not sure they should be doing that anyways LOL - joking).
