He assumed a opened/cracked pipe and/or a block.This crawl space door was too small for his camera, after pulling the toilet, he tried to snake it through where a toilet connects to the sewage line but ran into too many bends, and tried to snake it through the vent pipe on the roof and that was clogged (not fully blocked).

You find it in 1950s era flooring tile (usually the 9x9 ones), concrete/asbestos siding (durable but brittle), piping insulation, sometimes that 1920s insulbrick siding, as an additive to some old plasters, and probably half a dozen other places I have forgotten.

Luckily I still got the highest Appraisal without having to fork out cash on these repairs, but it'll still end up costing me around $15-20k to redo the concrete and build a new garage which should last as long as I'm holding the property.

I read somewhere that it is a good idea to schedule a 2 hr block to be at the house and have everyone show up around the same time because it creates a sense of competition. we printed of 30 applications expecting a lot of people to show up but during the time we were there only 4 people stopped by and 2 filled out an application.

I doubt that you'll be taken seriously, but you can essentially continue to contact the seller until they block you I suppose.
