As an investor, I want the GP to work full time on and in the business/asset I’m investing in.

I have multiple properties & small side business of less then $5000 a year.

@Jordan GeorgeTo help balance Chad's transplanted enthusiasm -  and as someone who invests and does business in both countries - you can do well investing in Canada, it will just take a little more work.   

I would prefer TN due to a history of sensible state government decisions setting a tone that is supportive of business and landlords.

I set up a property management company this year and intend to get into the business of property management.

And another question I have I'm not sure if my business is set up correctly to get those funds.   

But, generally, assess where you are now and where you want to be in the future (i.e. how much time you want to put into managing your investments, wanting $10k monthly passive rental income with little hands-on work, running a short term rental business in a vacation community, etc.).

Hi, I'm a relatively new investor - I currently own one duplex that's fully rented, and have one completed flip property on the market to hopefully sell soon.My next step is partnering with a family member - an uncle - who has expressed an interest in providing me with financing to help me scale my business. 

I believe there are less than 1,000 people in this country who earn more than $100K in profit wholesaling over the last two years, and even that's hard to accurately pinpoint, because most wholesalers, excluding the folks who sell expensive courses, tend to have larger holistic real estate businesses, that include flipping, hold, private lending, turnkey rental sales, construction, and other related businesses. 

My business partner had a personal relationship with the former tenant.
