There seems to be differing opinions on the whole lock box code to a stranger issue. 

The loan can be called due in full for any transfer in whole or in part of the property.  

So by doing it "open house" style, I could be there the whole time and the majority of my time was occupied with answering people's questions, reviewing applications, taking information, etc.

If one area is infested, you just treat the whole house (not just that one area).

Lenders sometimes get in on this game too, alas (especially if it's new construction and you took the bribe to use the builder's "preferred lender" - that's the whole point of the bribe to use that lender!).
