I'm currently reading, listening to podcast, analyzing deals and placing offers.

I have been reading a number of books and looking at places up to three hours from my house.

I recently finished reading "HOLD"  by Steve Chader and Jennice Doty and it was a phenomenal book that broke down every step of the process for analyzing, buying, and managing a rental property.

The property is going to need some aesthetic repairs in order to increase value.After reading the Bigger Pockets "The Book on Investing in Real Estate With No and Low Money Down" this seemed like a good strategy to get me going.

I started by reading and quickly found some REIA's and met some fabulous folks.  

I am currently focusing on my overall financial literacy so I read a book a week or more.Any advice on where to start or book suggestions are appreciated.

@Eric SmithI would read all of @Jay Hinrichs posts about investing out of state in rough areas.  

I’m sure I’ve read a good few chapters on these topics but as with a lot in REI it takes me a while to get just the jist of them.
