Poorly maintained properties and depressed areas are on the radar scope of planners, economic development, building regulations, the fire department, tax collectors and other municipal/county officials who, be  it known, really want you out of business and properties changed, I know because I worked with them.

@Mark Gallagher just to clarify he spoke with someone (didn't get a name or department info) over the phone from the city who read the same materials that we found online: http://phillyzoning.com/rsa-5/The individual from the city didn't provide a definitive answer but stated that based on the fact that its already broken up and has been for 5 years they could assumed that its should be fine.Hopefully that clears it up

You should check with your local building inspector or permitting department to determine if you are allowed to leave the dead wire in the walls or if it has to come out.

Answer may vary by state and Commercial vs Conventional loans.My experience has been that there is an affidavit signed stating "no portion of the down payment is from borrowed funds" :glup:Discuss with your loan broker or the loan department of your lender.
