There is a fellowship that is rewarding. 

Start with low risk, low reward deals and get some knowledge to be able to judge which risks are more likely to pay off in the future.

Like Danielle said, no risk no reward. 

Pretty much all aspects of life have a pro vs con, risk vs reward, convenience vs money and time component to them. 

One might say this kid is crazy and in for a rude awakening, I would say it's a challenging opportunity that if cautiously and diligently embarked upon can be successful and financially rewarding.

The government only rewards those that can handle a risk.

It's powerful and it's rewarding both from a monetary and personal satisfaction standpoint.

The point being that the  marketplace rewards higher risk with potentially higher cash flow.

Since this is my first time, how do I screen the investors that they understand the risks and rewards?

As I'm sure you're aware the greater the risk the greater the reward.
