Your job, your wife's job, the LLC and any children can all cause liability that can legally be separated.

Social media is for bored children.

Some of them have been able to eventually retire on rents alone, in fact one such couple are in their 30's with 4 very young children, (but they do work very hard at being Landlords & have NEVER missed a payment to us).This sums up our quest ......

According to the IRS, I cannot manage the property myself, I cannot conduct any repairs myself, I cannot find my own tenants, I can’t even have my parents, spouse, children, or grandchildren do anything related to the property.

The answer is YES It could be a violation because the ad could imply that “couples first starting out are childless and therefore, families with children may feel excluded.

Also, I would probably not rent to tenants with pets or young children, since the potential damage/cleaning could make it more of a headache than you get paid for.  

The analogy IUse is building a car from scratch and then having a family with children driving it.
