If you don't get the house because someone bid higher (or the bank wants you to bid higher), you don't want the house.The numbers don't lie...so don't argue with them.

In my opinion, the answer to questions like this always lies in how the property compares to others in the area.A detached garage fronting an alley is not uncommon across the midwest, especially in larger cities.

Some landlords will lie and say the tenant's great just to get rid of them, but some will be honest if the tenant's had issues.That's all I can think of at the moment, you have a pretty good list so far.
