Somebody is lying to somebody. :)  According to the state of MA, 90-92 Day St has not had a lead inspection done.

I don't think ill have to undercut people, low ball them, or lie to them to be successful with this method.

If you don't get the house because someone bid higher (or the bank wants you to bid higher), you don't want the house.The numbers don't lie...so don't argue with them.  

He is so technologically inept that it is actually easier to put everything down on paper.

I was wondering if a bank could finance the land and I could do contract for deed on the house, since thats seems to be where the problem lies. 

They would just lie.

In my opinion, the answer to questions like this always lies in how the property compares to others in the area.A detached garage fronting an alley is not uncommon across the midwest, especially in larger cities.

Some landlords will lie and say the tenant's great just to get rid of them, but some will be honest if the tenant's had issues.That's all I can think of at the moment, you have a pretty good list so far.

That link doesn't work for me, but as a gut reaction (and a home owning millennial) the phrase that comes to my mind is "There are lies, damn lies, and statistics." :)
