Not impossible, but not always easy for most students.You may be able to get some other loan with less restrictions, but maybe higher down payment like 30% down and probably higher interest rate.

83.49 (3)(a) cites, “the landlord shall have 30 days to give the tenant written notice by certified mail to the tenant’s last known mailing address of his or her intention to impose a claim on the deposit”I’m wondering if anyone has any real life experience with this.

No assistance in sight and what has been offered by my state really doesn’t help much at all.I’m sitting on 2 empty units at the moment and refuse to rent them out until these asinine eviction restrictions are up.

But there are obvious issues that might arise from serving in a dual role: the need for a retainer agreement, the need to fully disclose to the client which hat you are wearing and when, conflicts of interest, restrictions on attorney advertising, etc.I myself am not asking for legal advice, just for someone with relevant experience to point me in the right direction, either through a post or over the phone.Thanks,Clark

@Tracy Cummins  You need to be prepared in the event that they refuse to leave at the end of the lease - especially if the COVID eviction moratorium restriction is still in place where you are.
