Anyone sold a wholesale deal on Auction.com?
11 June 2013 | 5 replies
Hey guys, I have searched and found quite a few topics that discuss Auction.com, but have not read anywhere where someone has gotten a house under contract and found a cash buyer to assign it to through Auction.com.An employee from the site has reached out to me for awhile about putting my deals on there, and seems to fully understand the wholesale process and says they regularly do them.Does anyone have any experiences or thoughts?

Yes, I would agree that - if you're referring to cost basis (such as is used in capital gains calculations) - that the amount would include the cost of the assignment fee (since I believe this falls under "purchase costs").

If you had $8000, but poor credit, what's your REI strategy?

I would borrow all the money for the projects, keep the 8,000 for emergencies, or to live on until house sale payday, unless you have a job with regular income.

I figured it is better to ask, even if not for a great reference, but a "Stay away from so and so" kind of deal :) I saw in one of your post that your parents live in the Phoenix area.

Found this couple who individually has low income but has a decent combined income, no recent issues , no evictions ever, not great credit but no past due bills or collections in last 2-3 yrs ( the wife had collection issue prior to 2-3 yrs while studying), very good rental reference, verified employment reference.
