I have been planning, saving, and reading as much as I can and I think I know my plan.

Podcasts and reading can lay a good foundation and basic understanding but nothing trumps getting out there in the real world.

I'm reading Long Distance Real Estate Investing, so hopefully that will give me most of the knowledge I need to cover investing into the States as a non-American. 

Also, I have read about certain investors who prefer to throw the wholesaler a finders fee rather than putting it under contract.

@Oles Street A good way would be to learn about what you want to do first by reading books and listening to podcasts, and networking with experienced investors.

I read the entire  Pennsylvania Association of realtors  (PAR) AOS, under “Buyers Due Diligence” line 294 (A) #5 it states:“ Seller has the right, upon request, to receive a free copy of any inspection report from the party from whom it was prepared.

In your free time make sure you read books on real estate and of course articles on BP and you will be well ahead of all of your peers when you graduate.
