I dont find it that odd, if the tenant was home, it could have been that they went to the store or to his vehicle for some reason, and was coming back in, instead of bothering the friend to let them in, he just tossed the friend the keys, not odd at all. now if he is there more than the 2 weeks in my lease then its a problem. when we visit my bro-in-law in Ohio, he gives us keys, as he has classes, and we come and go, not at all odd.
