This assumes I buy an investment unit now and hold for 30 years to my retirement.By your logic, the answer to my question is "no" because you feel that since Cleveland will not be a beach spot there will be no relative improvement.

Using that logic, the language of the lease would require a 1 month notice to terminate the tenancy instead of a 30 day notice.You could give your 30 day notice today and the lease would terminate at 11:59pm on 11/13/14.

You buy an Apple phone or do a Google search in Kentucky and it pads pockets in the Bay Area.I am not a Bay Area resident or fan boy, just looking at this logically and as someone who has done business in the tech field for 20 years.

So if we were buying a $20,000 property @ 3%, this would only yield $600 commission, which would leave an additional $2,400 for us to pay the agent out of pocket.I definitely understand the logic, that it might not be worth the agent's time.

I really feel like the 1 months rent is pretty standard for our area, but I do see her logic and it seems like it makes good sense.
