Some people start off with fixer-uppers that cash flow and then stick with them forever while others eventually get tired and graduate to properties that don't cash flow but do better with appreciation.

Me (current):10+ years in corporate finance & accounting; The most recent 2 have been in project management (hybrid between finance & IT) in the healthcare fieldBachelor in Finance, Graduate Certificate in Accounting, and Master in MIS (Management Information Systems)My strengths are working with people, numbers, Excel, and automating systems and processesBetween working more than 40 hours, a 3 year-old and a 8 month-old, I barely have any time to dedicate to REI.  

I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill three years ago and currently work as an investment banking analyst. 

I went to school full time at night while working fulltime during the day and graduated with a 3.95 GPA in accounting.

Then my daughter graduated college, moved home, got a job, and moved into it rent free for greater privacy.Yes, around here, I could get $1,200 plus for the basement as a 1BR.

I am a local business owner and recent High School graduate.

At the time I graduated with a degree in econ, it wasn’t like now with 75 schools offering graduate degrees in real estate in the U.S. alone.  

I grew up very close to the Toledo/Maumee area and my wife graduated from UT so very awesome to hear stories of relatively local success.

As most are in college or just graduated and don't have a long history.
