I have had some friends on the residential side tell me they enjoy that part more as they can relate emotionally to helping families buy their home etc.

Compassion is a weakness reserved for injured animals, no place in this business for emotions.

I'm gunna flip this thread on its head and suggest you learn the terms "service animal," "emotional support animal," sometimes referred to as ESA.

The tools and resources included, amoung other things,  in the enrollment teach more strategies (and yes, those strategies are taught elsewhere) New investors are also more likely to get emotionally invested in a deal because the initial reviews of it by themselves and their agents seem to promise a high profit, and they can't quite let go of the excitement that "promised" profit.

I don't advocate taking on loans just for the tax write off, but if used as a strategy to scale faster, it is very powerful.The biggest argument for paying cash is piece of mind, so it is an emotional argument not a logical argument.

It’s a non emotional formula to get you to a goal.

Florida and we absolutely love the area and want a place there eventually so there is that emotional component as well… But I have walked away from many deals in my career and will walk away from this one too if it does not make sense financially!

It's a business, no place for emotions when it comes to money.Difficult to understand if tenants could not care less about the financials of their landlord why their landlord would care about them.
