Pocket doors are the worst invention in home building and design (that was me with my Architects hat on)

Hi All,I was able to find a seller that is looking to offload a whole portfolio in the Cincinnati area of multi family buildings (80 doors in total, 8 buildings from triplex to 25 units) it's all off market and all units look to be in good condition but dated (baths/kitchen) so great value add properties.I have NO experience with commercial buildings or Syndication of this proportions , he wants $7.5M for the whole portfolio. 

Yes, always build in some cost overrun into your budget.

Are people getting spooked out of older buildings / concerned about huge assessments? 

You're building equity and learning investing and saving $200 a month.

A lot of early investors do flips to build capital but we aren't ready for that yet. 

As rents go up and appreciation builds your wealth will grow. 

I work a 2nd job at night to build up the college fund.
