@Marielle Walter Both Indianapolis and Kansas City are affordable markets but  at the low end of your price range, you're going to be on the border of a low  C class/upper D class neighborhood in Indianapolis and a D class in Kansas City.

Hi @Jagger Babwin.I'll preface my comments by saying that everyone's tax situation is different so you should contact an accountant that specializes in cross border taxation issues and have a conversation with them about your specific needs.
