Currently it is lawn and big trees and attractive, but pretty plain between the units.

For someone who is retired getting into 30-year note is not going to be very attractive.

Using them can lock you into a strategy that may not be as attractive down the road as it can seem up front.

If you're not local to many tourist attractions, you'll want to take into account nearby medical centers or hospitals and research centers, followed by corporate campuses and schools;  you'll find that all of these are typically going to pull a longer stay.For the kitchen, I have found that on a shorter stay (up to 14 days), full amenities including sink and larger fridge, etc., are not required, and often go unused.

In some areas, 2 bdrm units turnover much more quickly, while 3-bdrm units attract longer term residents.

Things like figuring out where markets are in their cycles, what to look for in a specific market to qualify the whole market as being an attractive investment area, and what to look for as warning signs a market may be in decline.  

In my recent listings that attracted flippers one had 4 cash offers one was cash the other 3 where hard money.

At this time, we were able to attract an offer on one of the units, not nearly as high as I would have liked, but still acceptable.
