In my case, there is no special reason for the delay and I suspect it is due to time off work during the Holidays.I should also note that the bank itself may be the issue, a house that I bought a few years back was postponed almost 4 months because the bank had a specific quarter they wanted to write off the loss in.

@Steven Hamilton IIyeah she pays quarterlies and this is the time of the year she finds out if she paid enough, or didn't pay enough and owes some more or what not. she don't let loose of much money around this time.as far as the loan goes, I wasn't sure if they would do 30 years on something like this. it just misses the 50% rule with a 15, so a 30 would definitely put it in the range.
