Then reinvest the cash in a few smaller houses outside the city proper, buy a multifamily, or invest in a syndication.

Make a proper offer AND make sure you can perform (by having a buyer ready) and you won't have a problem.

During inspection, we found foundation issue on concrete slab house, water turned off so can’t check for any leak, can’t find sewer clean out, can’t check if toilets are draining properly.
