hi everyone, does anyone have actual real experience in investing in real estate through self directed IRAs?

My question is to people who has flipped houses or know how it works, assuiming I get a house that needs some work in order to make money and resell i have to renovate it nicely but I dont have any skills nor knowledge how to do remodel and I would have to get contractors to do it for me and they are not cheap at that point i would get contractors to do everything and will i make any profit after selling the hosue? 

There is a lot of opportunity in that space. 

I bought a SFR with a completely built out In-law suite in the basement.

I get why they did it but c'mon guys, don't shoehorn the Willamette in there with Napa!

You want proof of deposited payments in a bank account.

Do you have any tips or systems in place that have boosted your property's ROI?

Also keep in mind, most houses these days are already priced well with the cost of repairs in place and trying to get anything or even writing an offer under asking price is pretty laughable today.
