Not only does it seem unnecessary to me, but I feel that having BP become a paid lead source has diminished the organic, trust-building nature of the platform, which is the lifeblood of any honest forum.

As a new investor, I would prefer seeing you connect with a local professional vs using online platforms like roofstock and zillow.

This is a fantastic platform when wanting to start your real estate journey.I'd love to connect and get the ball rolling for your future investments/ offer advice to get this started for you.

Especially, here in the Bay where tech is such a huge proponate, all of them look a stocks / crypto and try or feel they are experts in those investing platforms.

Hey Eric,About 4 years ago SF passed a law requiring short-term rental Platforms to register all hosts and their rental property with the city, who'd be monitoring their compliance with these new short-term rental restrictions  (must be renting primary residence of min 6 months out of the year; must rent primary residence/room in residence for max 90 days out of the year). 

It allows for rent collection to happen and has a moderately useful UX/UI for both the LL and the tenant.RentRedi would be my first choice if I was looking to be on the platform for the long-haul. 

Just reaching out…what is currently the best method/platform for collecting rent from tenants?

Anyone have any experience investing on the AcreTrader platform? 

I highly recommend reading everything you can find, visit some meet-ups and REIA's, network here and on other social media platforms, and find a mentor or do a joint-venture with a more seasoned investor.
