If it is sold in your names then you must purchase in your names.If you dissolved that LLC and distributed it into your names a year before selling then your new ownership would meet the intent test with no problem. 

Wondering if the same non-payment dispossessory filing can be re-purposed/fast-tracked for holdover cause later, or do we need to start over? 

If true, then these syndicators and cost seg vendors have a lot of back-tracking to do.  

At the moment I’m on track to buy 2-3 properties a year but it sounds like my income level is significantly less than yours.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon here but there is something about this that just doesn't pass the sniff test. 

I've got multiple clients on that track, and they are doing VERY well with it. 

I use Zillow Rental Manager to collect rents - it is free for everyone unless the tenant uses a credit card to pay the rent, I use Stessa to track my expenses and income on the rental properties; TurboTenant to list my properties for rent(free).
