Many people run them (me included) and it doesn't have this added step.I am not sure of the tax rules regarding what you proposed, but I think it would be hard to find an individual willing to do this for you, with all the risks involved.

Make sure that your proposed possible structure doesn't affect that... a lot of times there are exceptions to manage property that you own, but if the management entity that you set up is not an owner of the underlying property, you may have an issue there.
