Those that have been doing this a while, how do you feel about the current environment?

Alberta has a few things going in its favor - low taxes, entrepreneurial environment and a favorable business climate - as compared to the other western provinces. 

My original thought was it would give new and existing tenants more peace of mind, and comfort in seeing new ownership come in and address those issues that have been neglected over the past few years.

Use it, its better for re-habbing and for the inside environment. 

I will do this by accomplishing #1 above and, since I obviously cannot do this alone, by creating a unique and awesome work environment for accountants and CPAs that will attract top talent. 

Considering everything else we receive, and the peace of mind, our CPA is money well spent.If filling out tax forms is all you're using your CPA for, you are either misusing him, or you need to build a relationship with someone else.
