You could purchase a property and then a few months later owe another $15,000 or more in back taxes.When I ran the numbers on the property I noticed the taxes were extremely low but I ran it with updated numbers based on the purchase price knowing that eventually there would be a re-evaluation and the taxes would go up.

Of the 19 properties on the list, only five were habitable, three had squatters and the rest were tear downs in blighted areas.When people say "housing shortage", we're talking about habitable homes which buyers would consider "move-in ready", not tear-downs, rehabs and fix-ups ("handyman specials").D'ya ever notice all the unfinished subdivisions now languishing in various courts and forms of proceedings?

So I refuse to allow the tenant to do it.The same tenant also MOVED an upper kitchen cabinet & when I noticed it askew I found only one 1 5/8 drywall screw was holding the thin plywood backing into a stud the rest were just imbedded in the 1/2 drywall.
