Possibly the mold came with the bamboo and there may be financial claims you can file in that direction.This class action lawsuit is for splitting, not mold, but it will give you an idea : http://www.classactionsreporter.com/consumer/lumbe...I know there is another one for formaldehyde from China bamboo.
