It is good if done right, but be aware that a lot of it is a scam....similar to paying carbon credits so you can fly around in Lear Jets.It of course makes sense to add recycling capabilities (if it is really recycled - another scam) and go with lower energy draw appliances (as much for you as anything else), but just make sure that what you are doing is really good for the environment...Just my .02....
