Did not read or speak any english, went to high school  in the am and work after school making 4.25 an hour, graduated  from high school  and went to trade school for 2 years ,my major was automotive technician, went to work for a gm dealership, have been a tech for 20 years .

Try and live below your means after graduating (ie. save money after you get a job), and use those funds to work your way into real estate.

That is a good idea, one of our complexes is mostly graduate students, they are the best best when it comes to college rentals.

Hi Everyone,My name is Jakob and I will be graduating with my Bachelor's in Economics in the next few months.

When you get to the 12-unit count, its really graduating more towards the small balance multifamily/commercial financing space rather than non-QM, residential, "DSCR" lending practices, which are being discussed above and mostly on these forums. 

Just tossing in my personal experience with bigger properties... a lot of my guests are here for weddings, graduation, music festivals, conventions, film crews, etc... so I make the same profit of 5 studio sized units.

Unless, of course, you feel you could easily be ready for unit #2 by the time you graduate and find something more permanent.Regardless, best of luck!
